Hi, my name is Christian Boyd, and I am an undergraduate student studying civil engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. My interests include sustainability and environmental monitoring.

My current research with the SEEL lab focuses on the impacts of rocket emissions on air quality in the Cape Canaveral area. By analyzing two years of launch data and evaluating particulate matter concentrations from regional EPA monitoring sites alongside HYSPLIT plume trajectory models, I help investigate changes in pollutant concentrations associated with rocket launches and assess the effectiveness of existing monitoring infrastructure. I am excited to contribute to the lab's work and continue developing my skills in environmental monitoring and data research.
