A Downtown That Works Again
Downtown Hamilton should be clean, safe, welcoming, and full of life. A strong downtown benefits residents, workers, visitors, small businesses, property owners, and the entire city.
Ward 2 needs a downtown where people want to live, shop, work, invest, and spend time. That means supporting local businesses, improving public spaces, reducing graffiti and illegal dumping, addressing vacant storefronts, improving cleanliness, strengthening safety, and making downtown easier and more enjoyable to visit.
Revitalization cannot only be about buildings. It must also be about quality of life. People need to feel safe walking downtown. Businesses need confidence. Residents need clean streets, active public spaces, and reliable City services.
I will advocate for practical downtown improvements that support investment while protecting the people who already live and work here.
A stronger downtown means a stronger Ward 2.
