Perched on a steep Kirkland hillside, this project transformed a small, disconnected deck into a breathtaking 1,600-square-foot, multi-level outdoor retreat. 

The project required extraordinary craftsmanship and perseverance, with all excavation for retaining walls and foundations completed entirely by hand due to limited site access.

Over two years, the team navigated complex engineering and permitting requirements to safely build on a 45-degree slope. 

Innovative structural solutions support a hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and multiple living areas. The result is a remarkable hillside sanctuary that showcases exceptional craftsmanship and beautiful Pacific Northwest views.
