What is an E-Portfolio?

An e-portfolio is an online compilation of a student's work. It can be organized by units throughout the year or by lessons within a unit. If you're new to e-portfolios, it's best to start small with a portfolio over one unit or concept (for example: the body systems) before moving to year long portfolios that are a collection of a year's worth of work (for example: 7th grade science). However, once you are comfortable with large portfolio projects, these types of portfolios can offer a great study guide for STAAR testing, and really demonstrate student learning throughout the year!
