Ali Worsham

Hi! I'm Ali! I'm an Instructional Technology Specialist in East Texas! I have a passion for blending technology and curriculum in order to create unique lessons that are student-focused, highly engaging, and yield high rigor for our Gen-Alpha and Gen-Z learners. As a former struggling student, my goal is to change education to be a better fit for all students and to get away from the "traditional" classroom. My motto that guides almost everything I do is to "teach like Google exists."

I hold a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction along with a Masters of Education Administration- both from Texas A&M University at Commerce. In the Fall of 2022, I am set to begin my Ph. D in Curriculum & Instruction with a STEM emphasis at Texas Tech University!

In 2020, I was selected as the 2020 TCEA Instructional Technology Specialist of the Year! Read more about it here!

Before leaving the classroom, I taught ELA for 8 years in grades 6th, 9th, and 11th. I am trained in AP, IB, and AVID techniques and curriculum. I've served as lead teacher, sat on various curriculum committees, and created common assessments for both high schools in my district during that time. I find joy in creating cross-curricular learning opportunities for students that are rich in technology and real-world applications.
