In this Flipgrid, students will choose (or draw from a bucket) a specific location. Then they will give 3 clues to their location and will try to guess each other's locations. 

Through Google Earth, students will take a virtual field trip through South America to see the different geographical elements. 

Get started: 

Visit earth.google.com and click on the dice. Google Earth will take you to a randomly chosen location. Once there, you can look through photos of the area, view the terrain, and zoom in/out of the area. 

Warm Up: 

As a class, use "I'm Feeling Lucky" to go to a random location. The students can then make inferences about life in this area, complete a quick search about the history or current events in that area, and even write from the perspective of someone living in that region.
