Article Summary

Now it's time for you to start exploring more about your topic. You will construct two article summaries as the foundation and literature review for your Genius Hour project. Create two sub pages under Genius Hour Project and name them as Article Summary#1 and Article Summary#2.

Google Scholar and UGA library website are great resources to find research articles, you could also look up Wikipedia pages, educator blogs, or news articles to see what research articles they used. The articles should be closely related to your research question and help you to discuss your question.

Your summary should include the following information:

Article reference in APA style. e.g. Contributors' names (Last edited date). Title of resource. Retrieved from http://Web address

What is the topic of the article? What is the author trying to find out about that topic?

What are the supporting arguments and data in the article? What kind of evidence is used?

What does it help you to understand about the topic? What are your thoughts after reading the article?

The total points for each Article Summary is 100 points. Each question worth 25 points.
