For start our crazy and eco trip , in the morning we went to the school to do several activities to get to know us and for break the ice. We were about an hour and a half doing this kind of activities

In the middle of the morning we did a break and they prepared a snak for us . I Have to say that we ate a great cake it was delicious, i really need the recipe

About 14, once eaten we took the bus and we went to Porto. We had got free time to make a few photos of the city.

As it did nice time, we took advantage of to seize the boat and give a tour of the Douro River, the tour was very nice and we could see the city in a different prespective.

Next, we had again free time on the city, my friends and I went to a little coffe shop for drink a tea, the place that we went was very beautiful.

At 18 more or less, we returned to the school for went with or families.

After that, everybody went with his or her own partner to enjoy the evening, It was a fantastic day for start the week!

This is the visual help that we created to present our work.
During all the presentations and videos that we saw from different countries, we could learn a little bit more about Eco-Tourism, to be specific how to be sustainable when you lodge somewhere.
Actually the presentations were very interesting due to the fact that each country presented lodging and products very varied and different among them but they were all such innovative ideas!
Tuesday, 12th February
On Tuesday, we visited the beautiful city of Porto, first of all we met at 8.30 Am and then we took a bus to go to the end of Gaia. We were amazed by the city, everything was really interesting.

When we arrive, we visited a place where we could see an amazing view of Porto, then we crossed the river and we arrived to the city. When we arrived to the city, we visited the cathedral of Porto, which was in the top of the city. Then we visited one train station called São Bento and that was fascinating, it was really beautiful, it was very uncommon because it had different colours. After that we visited different churches and we saw the Porto city all, it was huge, and it was in a really special street.
When we arrive, we visited a place where we could see an amazing view of Porto, then we crossed the river and we arrived to the city. When we arrived to the city, we visited the cathedral of Porto, which was in the top of the city. Then we visited one train station called São Bento and that was fascinating, it was really beautiful, it was very uncommon because it had different colours. We had a break in the garden of praça de Lisboa, next to the Torre Dos Clerigos, in the center of the city. While some of us were visiting Lello bookstore.

Then we had lunch in Rua of Santa Catarina, That it is one of the most important streets of Porto, we could find hundreds of shops and restaurants. We tasted the typical food as Natas or Francesinha. We walked in Avenida DOS Aliados again, while we were watching the amazing architecture of the street.

Then we visited the Palácio DA Bolsa, the stock exchange palace. Was an amazing building near the cost. The building was huge and it had Arabian decoration, which was brilliant. After that, everybody went with his or her own partner to enjoy the evening, It was a really nice day and we learned a lot about this city.

On wednesday we started with a short visit to the Carvalhos' local market,I think we all enjoyed the little walk between the market's stalls and even three of our team made a little stop to buy a typical portuguese sweet.

Then when we finished we returned to the school,that day we were going to present the video projects but before they gave us a small stop to maybe eat or just prepare the expositions.We were the first team to expose,Amal was who put the video and made an introduction,the next team was Portugal then followed by the French group continuing with the German team and finally the Slovenian group.All the videos were well made and entertaining.At midday we had already finished and they gave us a free afternoun with our host families.In conclusion was a fresh morning.

On Thursday we took a bus that took us to Arouca Geopark and when we arrived, we had breakfast together in a park that was in front of the first museum that we went to see.

In the museum they explained what a Geopark is, and that before being considered a Geopark, it was a very important museum. They also showed us the process they had to follow in order to be considered, adding information about the infrastructure that they had to build.

Then, went to Detrelo da Malhada Panoramic. There, it was possible to observe the steep northern side of Freita Mountain and the fertile Arda valley.

We continued the visit at the Costa da Castanheira Panoramic. It is located at 1046 meters above sea level and it is considered a magnificent observation point.

Following the tour, we arrived at the museum of Pedras Parideiras. Here, the granite has a medium grain, with two micas and a rare amount of biotite nodules. Quartz, orthoclase, albite, biotite and muscovite are the essential minerals it contains.

Finally, we visited the Frecha da Mizarela. There, it is possible to see a waterfall 60 metres high in the Caima River.

It was the last day we would spend all together and we were all really sad.The day was all about final thoughts,we started making small groups of 5 from each country and sharing a little bit about our experience,then we were requested to write about the different advantages and difficulties for ecotourism.Very good thoughts were brought,we discussed the misinformation that the society in general has about this matter and of course the obvious benefits for the environment and even for the local economy.Then to finish the morning teachers asked us to make a definition of ecotourism and write it down in a big cardboard of course trying to make it nice as possible.I Think we all enjoyed this quick workshop because we had the opportunity to talk about our opinions and share thoughts between us.
