Summer Music Program (for incoming 6th graders)
July 5-July 21, 2023 • 9am-Noon • in the Eckstein Music Room.
Concert Performance: Thursday, July 20th at 7:00p.m
Instruction for Incoming 2022-23 6th Graders – Every Eckstein 2022-23 Band/Jazz Band 6th grader is encouraged to attend.

Activities include: Music Instruction, Recess and Concert

Drumline Summer School
August 15, 16, 17 • 10am-Noon • in the Eckstein Music Room.
Drumline instruction for Eckstein enrolled drummers.

Senior Jazz Band B Summer School
August 21 - 25th • 10am-3pm • in the Eckstein Music Room.
Instruction Sr. Jazz Band B members — every Eckstein 2023-24 Sr. Jazz Band member is encouraged to attend!

SPS Summer Music Camp
Seattle Public (SPS) Summer Music Program is a great opportunity for students to continue their music learning over summer break.
Students who will enter 5th-9th grade in September and have had at least one year of instrumental music instruction may participate.
Who: SPS Students entering 5 – 9 grade with at least one year of instrumental instruction
When: July 10–21, Mon – Fri, 9am – 12pm... Students may attend for the full two weeks or one week
Cost: Tuition for 2 weeks is $200; 1 week is $100 and scholarships are available.
Description: Summer Music offers instruction in beginning and advanced band and string orchestra. Classes are taught by current SPS music teachers.

All City Band
The first rehearsal is Monday, July 3 and the program runs through the 2nd weekend in August
Students in the graduating classes of 2021-2026 (so students entering 9th grade in 2022) are eligible to participate in the All-City Band so long as they have at least one year of experience on their instrument. No prior marching band experience is required.
Students can receive fine arts credit or 90 community service hours through their participation.
