IN THE CLASSROOM

Classroom Policies

• Students should be in their assigned seats with instruments 5 minutes after the bell rings.

• Students should come to class prepared with instruments, reeds, music and a PENCIL.

• Students should show respect for their classmates, equipment, teaching staff and rehearsal time.

Instrument Supplies

Depending on the instrument you play, please bring the following supplies to class and store them in your case:

Flute – Cleaning Rod and a thin Cleaning Cloth

Clarinet – Swab and a minimum of (4) Reeds, 2½ Strength

Saxophone – swab, neck strap and a minimum of (4) Reeds, 2½ Strength

Trumpet – Size 5 Mouthpiece and Valve Oil

Trombone – Size 5 Mouthpiece, Slide Grease and Water Bottle

Percussion – SD General Sticks and a stick bag
