TIGP MCB PhD Rotation Student
I grew up in the Philippines and pursued my curiosity in science here in Taiwan. I
majored in Biochemistry for my bachelor’s degree where I also studied how spider
venom components modulate neurobehavior in complex organisms. My undergraduate
and early research experiences shaped me to be more creative and a bit braver when
facing research problems.
Outside of science, I enjoy running, reading, and hiking (as a beginner). Recently, I
have been learning to differentiate the various bird species around Taipei.
