Ecclesiastes 3:2-8
A Time for Everything
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
When Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, before the original sin, there was no good or evil, only Paradise...During this brief time, there was no time for evil...Had Adam or Eve been allowed to eat from the tree of life, we would have lived forever in Paradise...There would have been no time to die...That all changed after we ate the apple and we had the fall of man and woman...
Now God has made our time, one of a time to live, and a time to die...A time to weep, a time to laugh...A time to love and a time to hate...A time for war, and a time for peace...There is now a time for everything under heaven...
Now we have cold weather and hot weather...Sun and rain... Heaven and hell...Good and bad (evil)...
God allows us free choice and with free choice comes consequences and accountability... Paradise is gone, but God sent Jesus as the great reconciler to all of our choices we have ever made, if we believe in Him and that God sent Him for us...He now is our hope for our next Paradise...
