(Expand for detailed)
The world was created by four Great Dragons, each embodying an element: Water, Wind, Fire, and Earth. They guided the people in building civilizations and created lesser gods and dragons to maintain order and the world’s energy. For millennia, their creations and the people lived alongside one another.
The great nations of Verdanys, Lianzhou, and Thalvoria eventually emerged. Verdanys and Lianzhou appointed the Dragons of Wind and Water as their leaders, while Thalvoria chose autonomy, living without the gods’ influence. The Dragons of Fire and Earth ventured into the world, and their whereabouts have remained unknown for millennia, with rumors claiming they slumber in the deepest corners of the world.
The Dragon of Wind ruled among the people, often disguising themselves as human and believing a ruler should serve their people. The Dragon of Water remained in their true form, ruling through reverence, discipline, and worship.
Then came the Great War, which ravaged the world. The Dragons of Wind and Water led their nations against Thalvoria, whose alchemical weapons could even weaken the Great Dragons. After the war, alchemy was outlawed.
Now, both dragons remain in their kingdoms, weakened from the war. The Dragons of Fire and Earth remain missing.
