This section of my e-portfolio is to showcase my topic report for the course Seminar in Educational Management, which covered the three main government agencies responsible for Philippine education: the Department of Education (DepEd), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The presentation allowed me to identify the specific mandates, structures, and contributions of the three main agencies in implementing and governing education at different levels. In addition, it enhanced my conceptual understanding of how education governance works on the ground, with a particular interest in the context of policy implementation, institutional leadership, and system-level change. As a doctoral student and future education leader, it provided me with a greater ability to engage critically with national education policies and to pursue alignment between institutional practices and broader educational agendas.
