About Us
eCodal is a personal website created by an aspiring lawyer intended to facilitate his studies by compiling, as much as possible and prudent, all laws required for study in law school.
Noticing the abundance, but somewhat dispersed, availability of legal resources online, the creator embarked on converging these resources into one site, organized according to the main areas of legal study, to wit: Civil, Commercial, Criminal, Labor, Political, Remedial, Taxation Laws, and Legal and Judicial Ethics.
Recognizing the importance of Jurisprudence in the study of law, the creator also made available online, already accessible materials from the Supreme Court website, and the materials from Batas.org, the latter being previously accessible only via desktop application.
Finally, to supplement further the study of law, the creator created a platform, eDigest, wherein all users of the site can contribute their personal case digests that can be shared to other users. The content of said site is dependent to the participation and contributions of its users. Other tools available are the Knowledge Bank, that serves as a repository of Q&A reviewers; the Lexicon, a compilation of legal terms and definitions derived from various statutes and other reference materials; and the Directory, a compilation of websites of relevant government agencies for further legal research.
Since a vast majority of users are on mobile, the creator also made available the eCodal App for both iOS and Android devices. Most of the contents of this site are available in the mobile app.
The website is absolutely FREE to use and is intended as an alternative study material to other aspiring lawyers. Please feel free to share.
