Department Overview
The Los Santos Police Department is the premier municipal law enforcement agency within the Diverse RolePlay Community. Through its divisions and units accessible by department officers, the Los Santos Police Department is well-equipped for any emergency, crisis, or situation that may arise.
Mission statement
We, the Los Santos Police Department, are dedicated to excelling in what we do. We proudly protect and serve our community by upholding the most important and valuable morals and traditions our city cherishes. We strive to reduce and prevent crime, develop new strategies, and promote a positive environment in which we can all learn and accept one another. We provide the highest quality service to all citizens through honesty, integrity, and high ethical and moral values.
Department Expectations
It is expected of all department personnel of the Los Santos Police Department to serve and uphold the values, vision, and mission statements of the department. Department Personnel are not only expected to demonstrate obedience to the San Andreas Legal Handbook and Los Santos Police Department policies but, are also expected to demonstrate efforts of service through:
- Community Aid & Public Interactions
- Upholding & Enforcing the San Andreas Legal Handbook and other relevant statutes of law
- Uphold values of the Los Santos Police Department and Diverse RolePlay Community as a whole.
Department Values
We, the members of the Los Santos Police Department, recognize that in the ever-changing world core values and beliefs remain the fundamentals of a public agency. Core values are not descriptions of the work we do, but are strategies employed to assist the mission statement. These are the five (5) core values the Los Santos Police Department employs:
- Integrity: We will treat all citizens with respect, professionalism, and honest and ethical behavior in all that we do.
- Quality of Service: We believe in community wellness through the deliverance of quality service. We will protect and respect the rights of all people. We will treat all people fairly, impartially, and with concern and compassion, to reduce crime and the fear of crime within the community.
- Communication: We understand the importance of continued communication and transparency within the department and the community. We seek continual input from our citizens to ensure the quality of life within the community is at its highest standards. We seek input from our employees to render efficient service and improve satisfaction.
- Respect: We strive to demonstrate compassion to the community we serve. We uphold the rights and freedoms of all people through respect and sensitivity to their needs.
- Teamwork: We understand the importance of teamwork and partnerships within the Department that help drive and empower personnel to serve with a much greater purpose on a far greater scale.
