3. An Ally
"These delays in venturing into realspace are unacceptable!!!"
The anger was ever present in every word Bahl-Rahzg't uttered from his daemonic throat, but this time he was really furious. He crushed a bunch of bloodletters standing nearby and turned them into a pile of gore just to release at least a bit of his temper.
"All these gates collapsing before we enter with even a single warrior?"
"And when they finally do open, only a half of the army goes through? Not even able to kick ass of those pathethic space elfs?"
His fist hits hard a wall of the cavern next to a fire pit and a dark growl from depth of his throat finds it's way through clenched teeth as walls started to shake.
"Please, Karanak, tell me at least that you have good news for me!"
"Great city? Undiscovered planet? You're clairvoyant insight into minds of an enemy amazes me every time! What you're telling me, pleases us a lot! It looks like a perfect place to start our incursion into the sector."
"However, even the greatest hordes of our bloodthirsty warriors is for nothing unless we keep stable connection to stable! And for that we need a help of our old ally."
"We'll need a human help. They're our link to that world. I know of one, whose magnificient inventions can keep the gates open, and let the steady flow of our legions to the that univers, so that the bloodshed may carry on forever! In His name!"
"Before our allies are able to arrive, however, we have one more fight to fight. With whatever limited resources this vortex to materium will allow us. Karanak, go and slaughter everyon, before they know too much and get to the damned planet before us!"

2. Depths of Skull Domain
"Killed by what?!?" growls Bahl-Rahzg't in anger.
"Small group of futile space elves cowardly burning my troops with magic only to avoid bloodshed! How dare they?!?"
Another charred skull crashes beneath his huge clawed leg as he angrily stomps around a fire pit.
... eight weeks later ...
A sparkle starts to shine in his daemonic eyes, as Bahl-Razhg't starts to speak:
"Karanak, Endless Hunter, I'm glad to see you alive again. Your senses are so keen, they can perceive through space and time, no thought of any enemy can stay hidden from your inner sense. It's time to hunt."
His leathery wings tremble with the excitement with an anticipation of something big to come. And with something big, he means big battle, of course. There's never enough skulls that can decorate His throne!
"Well, not that a bunch of scumbags is important. Yes, I'm speaking about the cowards you met in the depths of that space hulk. Yes, you will hunt down that sorcerer and kill him."
"However, there's something bigger there, something they all lust for. This is your mission:"
1. Destroy all psykers!
2. Kill, maim and burn as much as you can!
3. From those who survive recruit most vengeful ones for our side, those orks and blood angels seem promising
4. Find out what they're up to
"Well, if what they're up to is important enough, it might very well be a way to start a new bloody war! Can't wait to send full force"
He shakes, spreads his wide wings and flies away to solve some other matters.
A tear in a immaterium opens and Karanak together with reinforcements jumps right through, landing firmly on realspace ground. The planet is Greco 13. His nostrils immediately catch a scent of the Aeldari leader, ...
1. The Gate
Stare into the abyss for too long and it will stare back at you.
That's what they're saying, and it's true! Medlik hasn't slept for months. All these nightmares haunting him every night. He'd seen many of his comrades go mad and one day they just disappeared with no trace. Now, every step he takes he trembles with severe anxiety and paranoia. He cannot stand this anymore, one or two more purges of heretics under Inquistor Bolgr's command and his mind will collapse for good - leaving him as a babbling madman only seconds before his head explodes from a merciful bolter shot by the Inquisitor.
His service to the Emperor was long and honest, but this is too much, this is not the end he wished. Now, he's standing alone at the gates of this damned Fortress. It must have been incredible luck that he managed to escape and hide before the eyes of the Ordos. He knew that he couldn't do this for too much longer. Sooner or later, they'll catch him. Something must be done. It's a madness but the only possible hope lies deep inside this Fortress everyone talks about.
He held closer to the forbidden amulet he secretly stole during last raid against those cultists. It was a minute before he deserted from the services of Ordo.
Every time he turned his mind to the immaterium and tried to tap the power of warp, They were offering their services. For so long he was able to resist. But now he has no other choice. It's time to bring Their power! There's no way he can do it into the heart of this fortress alone.
For the first time in his life, he let down his inner block and totally succumbed to that year-lasting temptation. In that moment his whole body started to shake with ecstasy he couldn't imagine was ever possible. He has never felt this powerful in his whole life. Not only hundredth of this. This feeling was something like from completely different universe. Like he was himself at last, freed from all the false hopes and lies that damned Imperium kept promising...
"Mighty warriors of Dark Gods!" he began to chant.
"I summon thee! Come forth and help me to clean the way into this Fortress! Kill everyone that stands in a way! In the name of Chaos!"
His eightpointed star-shaped amulet started to shine with strange reddish light and just seconds after a warp anomaly appeared. The vortex lasted only a few seconds, but it was enough for a huge three-headed hound to jump through. He released a mighty howl which was striking fear as it roared down the metal halls. The hound was accompanied by a couple of reddish cloven horned beasts holding horrendous blades pulsating with hellish warp energy.
Medlik's mind could barely perceive what he was witnessing. He didn't really believe that these beings can be true. He thought all these were merely nightmares haunting him in his dreams. The intensity of this new presence stroke him hard. He turned white, his knees were shaking badly, he started to collapse to the ground shaking in terror. The hound sniffed the air around him, and with ferocious look in the eyes and deep guttural growl, he jumped at him. One of the huge maws biting off his head while still in the midair, the other maw took a huge bite right through his torso. Blood splattered everywhere and in a very brief moment, the only thing remaining from Medlik was a sound of crushing bones under Karanak's teeth that echoed down the hall.
'Burrrrrrp'
'Psykers, cowards.'
'What's this place anyway? I'm hungry, let's go hunt...'

None can hide from the Blood God's favoured hound. Karanak hunts them all down across the length and breadth of space and time, no matter where they hide or for how long they run.
