Making traveling easier
Welcome to Little Voyager where we believe that traveling with a baby should be a relaxing experience and not a ride to entertain your baby. To achieve this, we developed Little Voyager. It is designed to entertain your baby for a longer amount of time than the rest of the toys on the market. The toy has neutral colors that are still entertaining for your baby. The Little Voyager has a lot of textures, colors, makes sounds and has different sets of themes, something for everyone.
For the project 'designing for specific users' of module 7 in the bachelor of Industrial design engineering we needed to find a solution to a problem for one specific person. In the first week our case owner was introduced to us. In the first sessions with our case owners we got to know them and hear where they struggle with. Based on that information we started with the research. During this phase we held a co-design session with our case owners to visualise their problem better. This gave us inspiration to start ideating for a solution. By staying in contact with our case owners on what they liked we formed our concept. With some adjustments the final design emerged. The prototype can be seen in the photo below.
