I welcome you all to this course, Your classes start from 24 August 2026, It will be held in Class Room Complex First Floor (CRC - 1 - 3 Lecture Theatre)
Timings of class: Tuesday: 10 am to 11 am , Wednesday: 8 am to 9 am , Thursday: 12 pm to 1 pm
There are some reference books which I can suggest you as follows
Modern Physics: Kenneth Krane - It is a wonderful book for beginners. It has an energetic presentation to motivate young readers.
Quantum Mechanics for Scientists and Engineers: David Miller - It is a nice and a detailed book written by an electrical engineer turned physicist !
Physics: Paul A Tipler - It is a time tested and a wonderful book for learning general physics, the latest editions have more additions and updates. Strongly recommended.
Basics of Laser Physics for Students of Science and Engineering: Carl Renk - It is a best entry level book for anyone who wants to know about the wonderful world of lasers.
Semiconductor Physics, Basic Principles: Donald Neamen - It is a good conceptual book for learning in depth about semiconductors.
A Text Book of Engineering Physics: M. N. Avadhanulu and P. G. Kshirsagar - No doubt it is a voluminous book, but it has a lot of typing errors and other conceptual errors. So beware of it !!!, but among the books in the Indian market, this is relatively a good book.
OF COURSE, THE NOTES WHICH U WILL TAKE IN CLASS OF THE TOPICS THAT I WILL TEACH WILL HAVE ALL SUBTLE POINTS AND DERIVATIONS
