Dr. Matt Boente MD’s work at Genentech, Inc. in San Francisco, California, involved leading a large global cross-functional team responsible for the FDA approval of medication bevacizumab with chemotherapy in front line ovarian cancer. The seasoned obstetrician, gynecologist, and gynecologic oncologist finished his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his residency at Rush Presbyterian Medical Center. He was a Galloway Fellow at the Department of Surgery, Gynecology Division at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He also did a fellowship at Duke University's Division of Gynecologic Oncology. Prior to working at Genentech, he held various positions at Fox Chase Cancer Center, University of Minnesota, and Minnesota Oncology.
