Big Picture Goal

My long-term professional goal is to advance excellence in family nurse practitioner practice and education by delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while shaping the next generation of nurse practitioners. I aim to integrate clinical expertise, graduate nursing education, and leadership to improve health outcomes and prepare competent, compassionate providers to serve diverse populations. 

Milestone Goals

Clinical Excellence Goal: Over the next 12 months, I will integrate at least two evidence-based practice updates into my clinical decision-making and patient education to enhance patient-centered care and ensure alignment with current clinical guidelines.

Teaching & Student Development Goal: By the end of the next academic year, I will implement at least one new competency-based or simulation-based learning activity within the FNP program to strengthen students’ clinical reasoning and delivery of patient-centered care. 

Mentorship Goal: Within the next 12 months, I will mentor at least two FNP students or new graduates by providing structured guidance, feedback, and professional development support during a clinical or academic experience. 

Professional Growth & Leadership Goal: Within 6 months of completing my DNP, I will expand my leadership role in nursing education by actively contributing to program development, curriculum evaluation, or faculty collaboration initiatives within the FNP program.
