Dining Out is an annual Air Force tradition where the entire corp gathers for a formal dinner which lasts about two to three hours. It is a way for cadets to come together and socialize and have fun while also allowing them to have a break from academics and school. Dining out is held every year after the end of first semester which is between January and February. Cadets wear their Class A uniform and we generally have a restaurant cater our dining out (this year it was "Mission Barbeque"). We also have a dessert potluck. We have a socializing hour when cadets can talk to each other and socialize. After the social hour, cadets are settled in their seats and the dining out ceremony starts. We generally have a guest speaker. Our guest speaker this year was USAF Lieutenant Colonel(ret.) "Digger" Graves. We also have a color guard followed by a honor guard ceremony. The vice recognizes our hardworking commanders who run our clubs. We then have a change of command ceremony where the chief of our corp is involved. Change of command is when our deputy corp commander takes command of our corp. We also played some games this year! Dining out is concluded with the color guard retiring the colors.
