The Uniform is a key factor in any JROTC Unit, no matter the branch. The Uniform represents our branch, our expertise, our successes and our pride. Each Cadet wears their uniform with pride, whether rookie or Commander. Each cadet must think of four separate traits when it comes to the Uniform ; Neatness, Cleanliness, Safety and Military Image. A Cadet must wear their uniform with confidence, strength, pride and courtesy. From Officer Blues to Khaki's, the Uniform represents an NJROTC Unit as much as the cadet that wears it.
There are two central Uniforms used in an NJROTC Unit; Dress Blues and Service Khaki's.
Dress Blues (Male)
Dress Blues (Female)
Service Khaki's (Male)
Service Khaki's (Female)
Note: Although their is a specific Female Dress Blues Uniform, females at Doherty utilize the Male Dress Blues Covers.
On Every Uniform, there are multiple components and items. Some are required to be worn. Others are optional items to show pride. All are good for the Uniform and show the wearer's ability, position, and performance.
