DOH-PHIC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2021-0001 entitled "Implementing Guidelines of Section 31 of the Republic Act No. 11223, otherwise known as the 'Universal Health Care (UHC) Act' on the Processing and Submission of Health and Health-related Data"
Pursuant to Sections 31.1 and 31.2 of the IRR of R.A. No. 11223, the UHC Act, the JMC aims to set the guidelines and mechanisms in the processing, submission, access of health and health-related data including unified data management and governance, National Health Data Repository (NHDR), and data access between and within PhilHealth and DOH.
Applies to all public and private, national and local health care providers, insurers, and health-related entities, and all national, regional, local and branch offices of the DOH and PhilHealth.
This MC, signed by Undersecretary of Health Lilibeth David, was issued to aid the promulgation of DOH-PHIC JMC No. 2021-0001.
