DOH-PHIC-DTI Joint Administrative Order No. 2021-0001 entitled "Constitution of the Price Negotiation Board and Implementing Guidelines on Price Negotiation for Innovative, Proprietary, Patented and Single-Sourced Health Commodities"

Pursuant to UHC Act's provision on the creation of an independent board that will negotiate prices on behalf of the DOH and PhilHealth, this Order covers health commodities that are innovative, proprietary, patented or single-sourced; the DOH's offices and health care providers in the procurement of the concerned drugs and medical devices; PhilHealth; other government agencies; other stakeholders in the negotiation process; and the pharmaceutical and device industry.

This MC, signed by Undersecretary of Health Lilibeth David, was issued to aid the promulgation of the JAO.
