DOH-DILG Joint Administrative Order (JAO) No. 2020-0001-A, "Amendment to Joint Administrative Order No. 2020-0001 entitled 'Guidelines on Local Isolation and General Treatment Areas for COVID-19 cases (LIGTAS COVID-19) and the Community-based Management of Mild COVID-19 Cases'"

The DOH-DILG JAO No. 2020-0001 is being amended after recommendations made at the 74th Meeting of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

The policy is meant to guide LGUs and their constituent households and individuals in the prevention of transmission and management of contact, suspect, probable and confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the family and community levels. The Order covers the DOH, MOH-BARMM, public and private health facilities, DILG, LGUs, others concerned.

This MC, signed by Undersecretary of Health Lilibeth David, was issued to aid the promulgation of the JAO.
