Implementing Guidelines on Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Referral System to All Government Hospitals Nationwide
This Order applies to all BJMP jail units, DOH and LGU hospitals. The hospitals shall
Implement the prescribed referral system;
Assign their medical social work department to facilitate and coordinate;
Allocate funds for indigents persons deprived of liberty (PDL); and
Report to CHDs for monitoring of the referral system.
