To further stimulate and sustain the growth of DRMC, R.A. No. 11879 was signed into law last June 29, 2022. Section 5 of the Act provides for its immediate implementation through the DOH's programs and appropriations. The implementing rules and regulations (IRR) shall also be in accordance with R.A. No. 11223, the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act, which ensures that all Filipinos have equitable access to quality health care goods and services.
