On April 16, 2022, the President signed and approved the R.A. No. 11703. Section 3 provides for the immediate implementation of the Act through the DOH programs and appropriation. The implementing rules and regulations shall also be in accordance with R.A. No. 11223, “Universal Health Care (UHC) Act,” which ensures that all Filipinos have equitable access to quality health care goods and services.
