On April 29, 2022, the President signed Republic Act No. 11725. Section 6 provided for the implementation of this Act through the Department of Health’s programs and appropriations. The implementing rules and regulations shall also be in accordance with R.A. No. 11223, Universal Health Care (UHC) Act, which ensures that all Filipinos have equitable access to quality health care goods and services.
