On April 29, 2022, the President approved and signed the Republic Act No. 11718. Section 3 of the Act provides for the issuance of its implementing rules and regulations by the Department of Health. The IRR shall also be in accordance with R.A. No. 11223, Universal Health Care (UHC) Act, which ensures that all Filipinos have equitable access to quality health care goods and services.
