On April 29, 2022, the President signed and approved Republic Act No. 11723. Section 7 provides for the implementation of the Act through the Department of Health’s programs and appropriations. The implementing rules and regulations shall also be in accordance with R.A. No. 11223, Universal Health Care Act, which ensures that all Filipinos have equitable access to quality health care goods and services.
