Provides the EPSB Program's framework and guiding principles, mechanism and guidelines on the deployment of medical specialists, and roles and responsibilities of different stakeholders. Includes annexes on program management process flows, recruitment, selection and appointment processes of physicians, and pre-deployment activity requirements.
For the implementation of this policy, the HFDB shall assist the Health Human Resource Development Bureau in determining priority areas for deployment of medical specialists; developing assessment tools in determining priority hospitals; and determining the standard number of medical specialists in hospitals.
