FULL TITLE OF THE GPPA: Support to the Implementation of Select Activities of Bicol Center for Health Development

DESCRIPTION: To address limited ability of Bicol CHD to meet priority deliverables critical to enhancing regional laboratory operations, improving coordination among health facilities, and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of accurate, timely and reliable diagnostic and referral services: capacity building to support the integration of program-based laboratory networks, and enhancement of technical competencies on bacterial meningitis and mycology aimed at improving diagnostic accuracy, strengthening disease surveillance, and expediting patient referral; and development of a functional specimen transport mechanism to complement the Salud Bikolnon Facility Integration for Networked Diagnostics and Referral System.
