DESCRIPTION: Laboratory system assessment aimed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the country's lab system's organization, its governance, legislation, and the roles of each lab involved, to identify strengths and weaknesses, and to provide recommendations to strengthen lab systems. The assessment is key to developing a comprehensive, integrated laboratory capacity and tracking progress.
