FULL TITLE OF GPPA: Orientation on the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 15189 for Clinical Laboratories
DESCRIPTION: As part of the institutionalization of the Philippine Health Laboratory System, the Office for Health Laboratories shall provide technical assistance and capacity building to laboratory healthcare personnel during the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 15189 orientation, in order to establish competence in a robust and reliable quality management system, and to encourage ISO 16189 accreditation in accordance with Memorandum of Agreement between the Department of Health and the Department of Trade and Industry-Philippine Acrreditation Bureau (Reference: Department Order No. 2024-0142, "Guidelines on the Release and Utilization of the Sub-allotment of Funds to CALABARZON Center for Health Development to Conduct the Orientation and Launching of Biosafety and Biosecurity Standards Manual, Second Edition, and Orientation on International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 15189 for Clinical Laboratories" dated April 23, 2024).
