DESCRIPTION: Currently licensed as a 75-bed Level 1 Hospital, the Ilocos Sur Medical Center is preparing for upgrading as intended by Republic Act No. 11705. Additional funds for Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses are being sub-allotted to support the cost in the hospital's upgrading and operations.(Reference: Department Order No. 2023-0314, "Guidelines on the Sub-allotment and Utilization of Funds to Ilocos Sur Medical Center to Support their Operations," June 13, 2023)
