Signed and issued by the Secretary of Health, Dr. Teodoro J. Herbosa, applies to DOH Central Office bureaus and services involved in the formulation, issuance, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of policies; includes as annex to the issuance an illustration of the HPMS logical framework.
Among its general guidelines, the HPMS promotes the integration of gender equality, disability and social inclusion, or GEDSI, in the policy monitoring and assessment process.
This issuance did not originate from the DOH HFDB: Address further inquiries about this issuance to the DOH's Health Policy Development and Planning Bureau. The DOH HFDB is one of the Central Office bureaus directed to ensure the implementation of the HPMS.
