Designation of DOH Hospitals with Functional Specialty Centers for Dermatology and/or Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine as Referral Hospitals for Mpox Cases

Addressed to all DOH executives, central and regional directors, BARMM Ministry of Health, heads of attached agencies and institutions, directors and chiefs of hospitals and other health facilities, the issuance identifies DOH Hospitals to be designated as Mpox Referral Hospitals, and defines the roles of functional dermatology, and/or infectious diseases and tropical medicine specialty centers in the provision of special care and services for mpox cases.
Address further inquiries about this issuance to the DOH Mpox Task Force (or the Health Facility Development Bureau).
