The teacher creates meaningful learning experiences for each student based upon interactions among content area and pedagogical knowledge, and evidence-based practice.
2C: Understands the cognitive processes associated with various kinds of learning (e.g., critical and creative thinking, problem-structuring and problem-solving, invention, memorization, and recall) 2 and ensures attention to these learning processes so that students can master content standards
This connects to Standard 2C by applying a series of stretches/warm-ups that fits the needs towards all students regardless of their fitness level.
2H: Understands the relationship among language acquisition (first and second), literacy development, and acquisition of academic content and skills
This connects to Standard 2H because it helps students achieve their academic goals in their respective domain. I feel more prepared to adjust my instruction towards ESL students when it is necessary.
