**Notice: Water Bills Have Been Mailed Out**
We would like to remind residents of the following important information regarding water bill payments:
**Payment Options:**
Water bills can be paid in person at the Town Hall using cash, check, or credit card. You can also mail in your payment or use the drop box located outside the double doors of the Town Office. We strongly recommend paying in person to avoid issues with unpredictable mail delivery. Please note that credit card payments are only accepted in person or online using the following link: https://www.walkersvillemd.gov/home/pages/pay-my-water-bill.
Note: In addition to the registration process, please be aware that there is a 2.25% convenience fee per transaction. This fee is the responsibility of the resident.
**Due Date and Fees:**
Water bills are due on December 1st. A late fee of 1% will be applied for each month payment is delayed. Failure to pay on time may result in disconnection of service, along with a $100 reconnection fee.
**New Water Plant Loan Repayment Fee:**
A $50 fee has been added to the bill to help cover costs associated with the new Water Treatment Plant. This fee will be in effect until December 2033.
**There are several services that can help subsidize your water bill!**
When you receive your bill, don't wait until it is past due to ask for help. Please contact the Town Office, or reach out to any of the relief programs listed below:

Make it a habit to carry dog waste cleanup bags with you on your walks!
Please use the provided doggie cleanup stations to access an emergency waste bag and to dispose of dog waste. The bacteria in dog waste is harmful to children, other pets, and the landscaping. We all love our beautiful dogs, but no one wants pet waste on their lawn or in common areas.
