Tenth Grade Storytelling Summits

Eleven schools throughout the country were set to host summit days in which tenth grade Diplomacy classes from nearby schools would come for a day of workshops facilitated by Diplomacy teachers. However, with the upheaval caused by Covid-19, these summits received a major makeover. Instead, schools were paired up for 21 meet-ups in which students talked about how they deal with their fear of public speaking, presented speeches to small groups in Zoom breakout rooms, and were treated to fascinating presentations from speakers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the American Embassy on the topics of Digital Diplomacy and Storytelling.
