| Project Barangay Assistance Thru Advocacy
Conceptualized in 2022, the Project B.A.T.A is an activity of DILG Pangasinan that fosters the concept of giving back to the community, especially on the following:
Project: BATA focuses on engaging with local communities directly. By working at the barangay level, the program ensures that the needs and concerns of residents are identified and addressed effectively.
This localized approach fosters stronger relationships between local government officials and community members.
The project emphasizes advocacy and education as key components. It aims to raise awareness about important issues, provide necessary information, and promote best practices among barangay residents. This educational aspect helps empower individuals and communities, making them more informed and capable of participating in local governance.
As suggested by its name, Project: BATA provides direct assistance to barangays. This support can take various forms, such as resources, training, or technical help, to enhance the capacity of barangay officials and improve the delivery of public services.
By focusing on advocacy and assistance, the project encourages good governance practices at the grassroots level. It supports transparency, accountability, and effective management within barangays, which contributes to overall improvements in local administration and service delivery.
The project is designed to tackle specific local challenges and needs. By tailoring its efforts to the unique circumstances of each barangay, Project: BATA ensures that interventions are relevant and impactful, thereby making a meaningful difference in the community.
