DILG PANGASINAN 2026: LEAD, DELIVER, SUSTAIN

The mantra “Lead. Deliver. Sustain.” captures DILG Pangasinan’s strategic shift in CY 2026—from completing tasks to elevating performance and standing in measurable and recognized benchmarks of good governance.

In 2025, under the mantra “We’ll Get It Done,” DILG Pangasinan demonstrated its ability to act decisively and deliver outputs across programs and services. The year proved that DILG Pangasinan can meet commitments and support LGUs effectively. However, as governance becomes increasingly performance-driven, doing the work is no longer enough—how well it is done, how consistently it is done, and how it compares in the region if not nationally now matter.

Thus, 2026 is positioned as a year of performance elevation.

Lead — DILG Pangasinan takes the lead in setting performance standards, interpreting national policies clearly, and guiding LGUs toward excellence in governance indicators. Leadership is reflected in proactive coaching, evidence-based decision-making, and strategic alignment with assessment frameworks such as SGLG, CMGP, and audit standards.

Deliver — Beyond compliance, the Provincial Team ensures quality, completeness, and timeliness in program implementation. Every intervention is designed to translate into higher scores, improved compliance rates, and better rankings, while remaining responsive to local realities.

Sustain — Rankings improve not through one-time efforts, but through institutionalized systems. DILG Pangasinan focuses on sustaining gains by strengthening documentation, capacitating LGUs, standardizing processes, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement—ensuring that improved rankings are maintained and surpassed year after year.

Seal of Good Local Governance Barangay Provincial Awarding

Pangasinan emerged as the first and only province in Region I to hold a Provincial Awarding Ceremony for the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB) passers. Held on March 24, 2025, at the Sison Auditorium in Lingayen, this milestone brought together 123 nationally recognized barangays for a singular moment of honor, pride, and inspiration.
