Dice Rolling Freaks!
FREE-TO-PLAY ADVENTURE GAME
If a Dungeon Level ends (for any reason) check to see the amount (if any) of Devil's Curse before starting the new Dungeon Level
To calculate the Demon Curse, look at the maximum length of the rows and columns of the completed Dungeon Level.
Example shown is '4 dice long x 5 dice long'
There is no difference between 'columns' and 'rows' because it depends on which angle you see the Dungeon. I'm just using those terms for convenience.
Next, note any rows and columns that have 'Gaps'.
Gaps can exist ONLY in rows/columns that have a majority of dice. Any row/column with less dice than there are empty spaces is not considered. (minority of dice)
Also, any row/column with an equal number of dice and empty spaces are not considered.
In the example, note the Gaps (marked with red stars).
Also note the space with 2 stars because it is Gap for both the column AND the row it is on!
The number of total Gaps = the Demon Curse amount. This value accumulates throughout the game.
Whenever a Monster is encountered, the current Demon Curse Total is added to the Monster's normal Hit Points.
The Monster Shyopinim normally has only one Hit Point (because of its Monster Number). If the Demon Curse is currently at 9, then Shyopinim's HP would be 10!
