• Late applications will not be considered until ALL completed applications have been considered and spots are selected. If seats remain, late applicants  may be offered a seat.

• Incomplete applications will not be considered.

How to apply

Applying to IB at Druid Hills High School is a 2-step process. Both steps MUST be completed to be eligible for a seat at Druid Hills High School!

Step 2b - Prepare and gather all the different things you need to submit your application. This includes:

• Completing the Video Interview (Follow the instructions in the Application Guide Checklist. Be sure to use the questions and the rubric in Application Guide Checklist to provide the strongest representation of yourself as a student).

• Send emails to the teachers you are asking for a teacher recommendation. A sample email script and the recommendation link can be found in the "International Baccalaureate Teacher Recommendation Form (Grades 9 - 12). You will need to provide the names of the teachers you have asked for recommendation letters

• Confirmation number for your DCSD School Choice online application

• Copy of your transcripts as of the school year ending in 2024

• Course schedule for the 2024 - 2025 school year

• 9-week Progress Report for Fall 2024

• Link to your unlisted YouTube (video interview)
