A VISIT TO THE OLD AGE HOME
A heartwarming initiative by the Interact Club of Aravali International School, aimed at spreading joy and happiness. As part of this initiative, the students visited an old-age home under the Association for the Welfare of Handicapped. During the visit, they distributed dry rations to the elderly residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being this winter. The students also spent quality time with the residents, listening to their stories and sharing memorable moments. This experience offered our students a profound understanding of service and compassion. Seeing the gratitude and joy in the eyes of the elderly was truly heartwarming.
The drive saw enthusiastic participation from the students, filling the day with smiles, laughter, and the true spirit of giving. It was a testament to the club’s dedication to making a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of others.
E-WASTE COLLECTION DRIVE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Reinforcing its commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship, the Aravali Interact Club initiated an impactful E-Waste Collection Drive. It aimed at promoting safe and responsible disposal of electronic waste.
In the weeks leading up to the summer break, students were sensitized about the harmful effects of e-waste on the environment and were encouraged to identify and collect obsolete or non-functional electronic items from their homes. Upon the reopening of school, students from Grades III to XII responded with remarkable enthusiasm, bringing in a wide array of e-waste, from old chargers and mobile phones to discarded batteries and electronic accessories.
The initiative witnessed wholehearted participation across all grade levels, reflecting a strong sense of awareness and responsibility among the student body.
