Mystical skeleton creatures attack the city during the Day of The Dead, maybe they didn't rest well and are seeking for revenge against the people alive. It's now your job to take your ship to fight and send them back to the world of the dead.
Calavera is the very first game I have developed. As it being my first project of the school year, I wanted to choose some theme that would allow my classmates to get to know me a little better, so I chose the theme of the Mexican celebration: The Day of The Dead. Being my first project, it was difficult to make, but I learned very much from it. It was a project where the concept, art, and programming was done by myself with the music and sound coming done by sound designers from our school. Learning to create enemy patterns, items to help the player and even make my own particle emitters was an incredible experience to improve my game developer skills.
