Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Seeking the LORD
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Seeking the LORD
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
God in infinite and eternal...God is very complex...Language and words are stretched to the limits in trying to explain Him...Jesus knew more about God than anyone, that has walked on the earth...Jesus has given us the best insights ever about God...But in the context of an infinite LORD, Jesus only gives us a few finite words and passages...The passages are very important and valuable, but still they are few...Two thousand years ago, and even though God exists, we still know only a little about Him...Man knows much, much less about God than Jesus knew about His Father...But Jesus is the Son of God...We are limited to what we know about Him and can write about Him, because there is an infinite number of things that we do not know about God...Also, we are limited by our own knowledge and knowledge of Him...Jesus never wrote a book about God, or discussed His many, many attributes...
Since we are unable to describe God in the proper context, this does not mean we are not supposed to try to explain Him or not write about Him...So even though we only know a slice or small part of God does not mean we should not write and learn about Him and study Him...Without books and written and oral stories, how would man continue their knowledge and information about God?...The Old Testament tells us to seek the LORD...How could we do this without others writing about Him?...We are to seek Him and we can seek Him in the Bible...The Bible is His main book...The Book is about Him...The Bible is our best resource to seek and find Him...
