VISION

Guided by the Department of Education's vision which aims to develop patriotic and competent learners who can contribute to nation-building, Mactan Senior High School crafts its programs and policies to produce well-rounded, values-driven, and future-ready students. As a learner-centered institution, the school is committed to continually enhancing its services to help every Filipino child achieve their full potential.

Everything at Mactan Senior High School is guided by the Department of Education's vision: to raise Filipinos who are both patriotic and equipped with the skills and values to contribute to their nation. This guiding principle ensures that students are at the heart of every program and decision the school makes.

The school provides a supportive, inclusive, and values-based education. It focuses on developing crucial academic and technical-vocational-livelihood (TVL) skills to ensure its students are ready for employment upon graduation. It also promotes character development and holistic growth through various activities and services that align with their chosen career paths.

The school believes in the power of teamwork. Its teachers, parents, students, and industry partners all collaborate to help the students become capable, compassionate, and socially engaged individuals. From classroom lessons to community projects, every action the school takes is designed to produce graduates who not only excel academically but also live by its core values of patriotism, respect, and service.

MISSION

The Department of Education's mission is to give every Filipino access to a quality, fair, and culturally relevant basic education. It highlights the important roles of teachers, school leaders, families, and communities in creating a safe, child-friendly, and inclusive learning environment. At Mactan Senior High School, this mission guides us as we create programs and practices that help every student become a lifelong learner and a responsible citizen.

Finally, Makabansa inspires patriotism and civic involvement through student leadership and participation in national programs.
